Treatments to Common Failures of Laser Engravers

No laser beam extracted from laser head

Observe the current status by pressing the test buttons on the operation panel:

No current: check whether the laser power supply is connected, whether the HV wire is loose or falling off, whether the signal wire is loose or falling off;

There is current: check whether the lens is broken, whether the light route is of serious deviation;

The laser diode or the laser power supply is problematic;

Whether the main board or the wiring panel is problematic;

Check whether the water circulatory system is normal:

No water: check whether the water pumps is broken or it is not electrified;

There is water: check whether the water intake and outlet is contrarily connected or broken;

Whether the water protector is broken or the wire of water protector is falling off;

Spot spray and auto test work, but there is no laser beam extraction when sending data (check whether the setup of the computer is correct).


II. Engraving depth non-uniformity or shallow engraving 

Check whether the water flow in the circulatory water system is smooth (whether the water pipe is bent or broken);

Check whether the foci is working correctly (recalibrate it if not)

Check whether the light route is working correctly (recalibrate it if not)

Check whether the overlay on the plate is too thick or the water is over amount (correct if yes)

Check whether the beams are parallel (adjust the belts if not)

Check whether the lens are broken (replace them if yes)

Check whether the lens or the laser emitter is polluted (clean them if yes)

Check whether the water temperature is over 30℃ (change the water if yes)

Check whether the laser head or the reflect lens is loose (tighten them if yes)

Make sure the laser current optical intensity reaches 8mA;

Check whether the laser tube is aging (replace: free of charge in warranty period)

Check whether the gap between slipper block is too wide (replace if yes)

Check whether the main board is working correctly (replace if not)

Check whether the laser power supply is working correctly (replace if not)

Abnormal reset

Check whether the sensor is dusted, or the connection is defective or damaged (clean the dust on the sensor or replace it);

Check whether the soft conduct data cable is defectively connected or damaged (repair the data cable and re-insert it or replace cables);

Check whether the ground leader is reliable or the HV wire is damaged (reconnect it or replace the HV wires);

The wire connection of the motor is defective;
 

The drivers or the drive block is problematic;

Loose 1/M, problematic resistor array or small plate will also cause abnormal reset;

Slipping engraving

The initialization is incorrect and the data had been sent (correct it);

The operation order is wrong (output again);

Static disturbance (check whether the ground leader is falling off);

The HV wire of the laser power supply is open;

The main board is problematic;

The laser diode is problematic and the power is unstable;

The laser power supply is problematic;

dislocated and incomplete cleaning and edge engraving

Check whether the edited file is correct (re-edit)

Whether the aim selected is beyond the layout (re-select it)

Check whether the parameters of the software were set correctly;

The computer system is problematic (reinstall the OS and software)

Check whether the tension of the belts on both sides are the same or whether the back belt is too loose (tighten the belt);

Check whether the belts or the synchronizing belts have skipped (tighten the synchronizing wheel or belts)

Check whether the beams are parallel (readjust the belts on both sides);

The slipper block and the metal roller are problematic;


The computer failed to output

Check whether the parameters of the software were set correctly;

   It’s high speed machine. And only low speed machine need to be pressed;

Check whether the machine had been reset advanced (correct it);

Check whether the setup of serial output is consistent with the output setup of software (setup again);

Check whether the ground leader is reliable and whether there is static disturbance with the data cable (reground it);

Replace the output test of the serial port of the computer;

Reinstall the software and set up the test again;

Format the system disc of the computer and reinstall software to test it;

The serial port of the main board is damaged and need repair or replacement.

The HV wire of the laser power supply is broken.


Yueming failed to compute the path

Check whether the path computation method is correct;

Check whether the file format of graphics is correct (correct it)

Uninstall, reinstall and setup the software again;

Common failures of computers

The fonts become less and less gradually (reinstall the OS);

The amount of data is too large to compute the laser path (wait for a while or increase the RAM of the computer);

If no response to path computation for a long time, restart the computer and test it.
